What is Rec Center Recess?

Spring Break: Rec Center Recess
The winter is cold and long and cabin fever has kicked in like crazy! We are all ready for Mother Nature to usher in spring with its green grass, blossoming flowers and warmer temperatures. What better way to celebrate then with the Provo City’s Spring Break Rec Center Recess program

What is Rec Center Recess?
It’s a chance to drop your children (ages 6-12) off at the Provo Recreation Center for Spring Break. They will experience some of the best activities this facility has to offer.  Your children can attend morning (9am –12pm) or afternoon sessions (12:30pm - 3:30pm) or they can stay for both! They will have the opportunity to participate in swimming (http://www.provo.org/community/recreation-center/aquatics), sports, popular fitness programs, cooking, and outdoor games /activities. Our program is 100% inclusive. We offer an adaptive version of this program for kids with special needs. Both groups will participate in all activities, building tolerance and love for all people. The adaptive camp includes a higher staff to child ratio and the staff members and volunteers are trained to deal with difficult behaviors professionally. We see this inclusive nature as one of the best aspects of Rec Center Recess and our summer camp programs.

Schedule
Your children can come and participate all three days and all sessions or one day for one session or anything in between.  Every day will offer something a little different and will provide a variety of experiences.
