What is Movies in the Park?
Movies in the Park is a chance for families and friends to gather together and watch movies under the stars. Food Trucks are on sight in order to eat good food and snacks while you watch some great movies.
When is the event?
The event is held every Monday night during the month of August. Movies start just after sunset, when it is dark enough to see the movie screen (usually around 9pm). Come early to stake out a good spot!
Where is the event?
Movies in the Park is held at Rock Canyon Park, 1200 E 2620 N, on the east side of the bowl.
What movies will be screened?
This year we asked Provo for their favorite Disney Movies and we are screening the most popular films.
August 3: The Emperor's New Groove
August 10: Big Hero 6
August 17: Toy Story
August 24: Monsters Inc.
August 31: Tangled
How much does it cost?
Attending Movies in the Park is free. However, there are many food trucks that attend Movies in the Park. Plan on purchasing some great food to eat while you watch each movie.
What age group is this event for?
The event is open for all ages.
