The Countdown Star Singing Competition is one of Provo's favorite activity at the New Years Eve Event! The Star Singing Competiton try-outs will be held during the New Years Eve Event at the Provo Towne Centre Mall. Try-outs will be located lower level Dillards from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm. The Karaoke Try-Outs are first-come first-serve, so make sure you get there early! You can pre-purchase your Countdown Wristbands at the Provo Parks and Rec Office at the City Center on 351 W Center Street, Provo.The top 20 singers will recieve a "Golden Ticket" and be able to move onto the Main Stage and sing with a live Karoke Band! The Finalists will perform from 9:15 pm - 11:45 pm. Prizes will be awarded to the Top 20 and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Gift Baskets will be awarded to the Finalists!
